3-Alarm Fire Jerk Rub - 8 oz
This Jerk rub is spicy hot featuring the Habanero pepper, savory allspice, nutmeg, ginger, hot paprika, and many more spices. Wear mask and gloves to handle it. Only 1.5 ounces is needed per chicken or 4 pounds of meat.
Ingredients: Onion, garlic, allspice, brown sugar, Kosher salt, green onion, habanero, black pepper, nutmeg, ginger, thyme, hot paprika, & cilantro.
Cooking Instruction:
1. Add 1.5 oz or 3 tbsp. of jerk rub to small mixing bowl.
2. Add 1/4 cup of oil & 1/4 cup of vinegar/citrus juice to jerk rub.
3. Mix ingredients until it forms a soft paste.
4. Put a quartered chicken in a large mixing bowl.
5. Rub the jerk paste into the chiken until fully covered.
6. Cover and refrigerate chicken overnight.
7. Grill or cook chicken in oven until 170 F.
Makes 6 servings.
Serving Recommendations:
You can also jerk pork, beef, and fish.
Serve with rice, beans, plantains, and sweet potatoes.
